Associate Periodontist

Metropolitan Periodontists, P.A. has an opening for an Associate Periodontist at our office in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Diagnose and treat diseases, injuries, and malformations of teeth, gums, and related oral structures using both non-surgical and surgical periodontal therapy. Address gum-related conditions such as periodontal disease, gum recession, and oral pathology. Perform cosmetic periodontal surgical procedures. Provide dental implant-related surgeries, including site development, guided bone regeneration, and surgical placement of dental implants. Establish comprehensive treatment plans to improve patients’ oral health and function. Support restorative dentists in providing comprehensive and collaborative care for their patients. Administer oral and IV conscious sedation in compliance with Minnesota state regulations to ensure patient comfort. Requires DDS, DMD, or equivalent foreign degree. Completion of a residency program in a CODA-accredited dental school in periodontics (Certificate in Periodontics). Must be board certified in periodontics, and be licensed to practice dentistry by the Minnesota Board of Dentistry.

Must have the following: Conscious sedation certification from the State of Minnesota; current ACLS and BLS certifications; valid NPI number and DEA number/certificate. Position also requires at least 3 years of experience as practicing periodontist. The pay ranges from $181,834/year to $212,243/year. Metropolitan Periodontists offers standard benefits offered to full-time employees (which include medical, life insurance, 401(k), disability, paid sick leave, paid national holidays, and paid vacation).
