Dental Office Assistant - Join Our Team!

Are you a detail-oriented, growth-minded professional who enjoys connecting with people? Our thriving periodontal practice in Downtown Minneapolis is seeking a dedicated Dental Office Assistant to join our supportive team and make a meaningful difference!

About the Role:

As a Dental Office Assistant, you’ll play a vital part in the smooth operations of our practice. This role goes beyond typical office duties – you’ll assist with new patient exams, perform administrative tasks, help with sterilization, and occasionally provide chairside assistance to ensure our patients have an exceptional experience with every visit.

Schedule:
We offer a 4-day work week:

• Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Care: Welcome and assist new patients, ensuring they feel at ease and are well cared for during exams.
• Administrative Support: Answer phones, handle patient scheduling, and manage essential administrative work to keep our office running smoothly.
• Sterilization: Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant environment by sterilizing instruments and following safety protocols.
• Chairside Assistance: Provide occasional chairside support to our dental team, enhancing our patients' experience and assisting where needed.

Qualifications:

• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Flexible and adaptable to meet dynamic needs of the practice
• Previous dental or healthcare experience is preferred but not required; non-licensed assistants and aspiring dental students are welcome
• Enthusiasm for learning- Comprehensive on-the-job training is available to the right candidate, empowering you to succeed from day one
